I've just launched into the project of redesigning the website for the Tampa Latin Chamber. If you're familiar with the old website you'll see the difference right away. For starters it was necessary to accentuate the brand of the Tampa Latin Chamber which was not present on the old template-based website. Also some practical issues needed to be addressed like implementing the ability of the members to post and subscribe to events, (this was solved by using the omnipotent Google Calendar, by the way) and accessibility to the news, etc.
Be aware, the website right now is still a work in process, but I will be posting the progress (as long as I'm allowed) and hopefully will get feedback from you lovely designers who frequent my blog as I go along.
